This device is claims it is compatible with linux and below is the what we found listed for this device to make it work with linux..

Here is the product Manual
https://ss7.vzw.com/is/content/VerizonWireless/Devices/Verizon/Userguides/vzw-mifi-4g-lte-usb-modem-ug.pdf

The Products Linux Integration Guide  (Warning Very sketchy and poor documentation)

Ok at last here is the AT Reference Guid which I didn't really understand that well..

First off complaint with this device is that their should have been a repo to download the appropriate devices to make this dongle work example is apt-get install whatever  ..

I honestly expect more out of verizon I had figured that they were trust worthy enough company to post accurate and at least have well documented information on their site boy was i wrong........

Here is a youtube video that did help us get things kinda rolling for a moment but we could not maintain  connection for some reason..

Here is the wvdial info you will need

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install wvdial
Here is the rest of the information..
/etc/wvdial.conf  <--- Config file for wvdial

#Config file below
Code: [Select]
[ Dialer Defaults ]

Init1 = ATZ
Stupid Mode = 1
Dial Command = atdt
Carrier Check = no

[ Dialer Verizon ]

Modem = /dev/USB0
Baud = 100000000
Phone = *99***3#
Username = 1
Password = 1

#Config file over!

you will need to cd to /dev/ then ls till you see USB0 and make sure your device lands on USB0 if not you have to start all the typical linux trouble shooting steps all over again..

When you run this it will look like this wvdial Verizon

Rant over!!!

The device we will try using with our repeater system is this device here..
